These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding electronic agreement between you (“User”, “Viewer”, or “You”) and The Unknown Film Company under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. By accessing our Website, streaming video excerpts, playing audio tracks, or submitting inquiries, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Intellectual Property & Copyright Reservation (Indian Copyright Act, 1957)
All cinematic works, documentary features, audio tracks, original music scores, video excerpts, screenplay transcripts, still photographs, graphics, trademarks, logos, and digital assets published on this Website are the exclusive intellectual property of The Unknown Film Company and its registered producers/directors:
Protected as a cinematograph film and sound recording under Sections 13 and 14 of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. All worldwide theatrical, digital OTT, broadcast, educational, satellite, and synchronization rights remain strictly reserved.

2. Permitted Use & Prohibited Conduct
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and stream content strictly for personal, non-commercial viewing.
- Downloading, ripping, scraping, stream-recording, or capturing video or audio streams from the embedded players.
- Re-uploading, broadcasting, syndicating, or mirroring any media to external platforms (YouTube, Vimeo, social networks, or torrent networks).
- Hosting unauthorized public or ticketed screenings without a formal institutional license agreement executed with the Company.
- Attempting to bypass edge security firewalls, Turnstile bot verification, or digital rights controls.
3. Academic & Institutional Screening Licensing
Universities, film festivals, cultural institutes, and educational foundations desiring to host non-theatrical or academic screenings (similar to past screenings at Boston University, University of Lausanne, and IIT BHU) must submit an official inquiry via our Contact Portal. Screening permissions are effective only upon written issuance of a formal Exhibition License by The Unknown Film Company.
4. Warranty Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Website and all streaming media are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
To the maximum extent permissible under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable Indian laws, The Unknown Film Company, its directors, and producers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from your access to or inability to access this Website.
